Libertarianism thrives because its adherents know little or nothing about history. Clean water, paved roads and public education were already in place when they were born and so they feel that those things, which required years of collective effort, are naturally occurring. They spring up just like mushrooms. Libertarianism is ignorance and selfishness overlaid with a veneer of pseudo-intellectual rhetoric.
