Yeah.
Step 1. Make work a requirement for people to receive food stamps
Step 2. Most people on food stamps either (a) can’t work or (b) can’t find a job
Step 3. All those people lose food stamps
Step 4. Claim great success at solving the food stamp problem, when all you’re actually doing is taking away aid from people who need it and creating an actual hunger problem.

Not to mention businesses (Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Ralphs, Trader Joe, Whole Foods, Publix, Meijer, etc. etc. etc.) that accept food stamps lose revenue.
