It was centuries ago for Christ’s sake. You don’t see me hating the Brits for colonizing the Indian subcontinent for many years.

What I love is for white people, African-Americans need to get over slavery but the Civil War can remain a festering wound to White Southerners. You just gotta see people as people. And as an ethnic mutt, I’d be hating myself if I let old hates get in the way.
