Taken as I am with the Fagradalsfjall volcano, because it’s one of the more photogenic geologic events at the moment - it seems to really want to be imaged - the real boon is to the drone-aficionados.

New video today by a guy who makes general purpose videos, but he does a very good job at setting the table, so to speak. This was shot a few days ago shortly after fresh lava started to come down in Natthagi valley. Much more lava has come down the past couple of days after he recorded this.

Still, some of his opening shots really show well how full Geldingadalir valley (that is the highest of the valleys) is with lava. It’s a couple of kilometers from the cliff back to the volcano:
