the hearings are a success so far because of two things:

- almost all of the relentless march of (imo) deeply incriminating evidence has come directly from TFG and/or Republicans.

- Adults are running the show, not the inmates. McCarthy blew it bad. Imagine the leakage if Jordan was in the room as they investigated all these months. Imagine him on the panel during the televised hearings. Instead there is commonality and buy-in of the purpose of why they are all there.

Part of the reason that McCarthy pulled out was because Pelosi wouldn’t allow Jordan on the committee. But McCarthy fucked up by not having slightly more reputable Republicans on the Committee to act as spoilers.
