Just like the Nazis (yeah, I went there), and to paraphrase William Shirer, Trump is loved by the petty bourgeois who considered themselves morally superior to the workers.

“Computer programming” is not manual labor, it requires higher education and specialized skills. Also: we don’t call it “computer programming” any more. Now it’s “Java Developer” “asp.net developer” “SQL Developer” “Oracle Developer” etc. etc.
