Now I like Cheney, but I think the real issue is (and as I far as I know no one knows the answer yet), was anything done differently by the Obama administration that created a gap that permitted this act to occur, or were things handled the same under the Bush administration as they are now. If nothing has changed under Obama, and the same policies and procedures were in place, then they need to be corrected and we move on. If there was a change under this administration that prevented the tagging of the terrorist, then the Obama administration needs to be held accountable. re: #164 Cineaste

Fair enough. So far, noone has pointed to any differences. Except that Obama was out talking to the press FASTER than Bush after Richard Reid.

You’re right about no one pointing out difference. I’m not saying there are. I am saying that is the only thing that I would find fault with. Also, I didn’t say anything about his vacation. Neither did Cheney. You are right on the other two, but politicians do what politicians do unfortunately. The rhetoric from the left was better? You don’t remember Hillary screaming “what did they know, when did they know it” right after 9/11. Despicable? Yes, Surprising? No. Only on one side of the aisle? No.
