The original saddle on the Plastic Fantastic Bianchi was some Fizik gel thingie in Celeste green. Looked great on the bike. Felt comfy around the block. Put my Johnson right to sleep.

I immediately started searching around and located the last remaining trove of Avocet 02Air 40R saddles, at Palo Alto Bikes. Bought 4 of them. Now I still have one spare for backup in case one of the ones currently mounted breaks. I am NOT going through >5 saddles looking for one that fits, ever again!!!

Good job snagging 4 of them. The best stuff always gets discontinued. I have seen the ‘padding’ go rock-hard on Avocets, so they don’t last forever, but who does? Many more comfy saddles on the market these days. But my favorite is discontinued. Happens faster when you go for the closeout deals.
