She’s right. On the other hand, will the day when black citizens are safe in their cars come earlier if solidarity with the nation’s largest minority is rejected?

When Bernie talks about ‘ending identity politics’, what nonwhite people hear is this:

“Yes, I understand - your people are being shot left and right for no reason, and then we blame the victims. We tell you to cooperate, and then we shoot you anyway, and then we let the cops who did it go free. But look at these poor white people over here!”

And, honestly, what the WWC has been going through lately is a softer, easier version what the NON-white working class has been going through forever.
