I’m no fan of the New York Times, but they can be useful in holding people’s feet to the fire.

Back in January, the Times, along with other news outlets, ran the story of a young woman who was coerced into performing a blowjob on her youth pastor back 20 years ago. The youth pastor is now “teaching pastor” at a wannabe megachurch in Memphis. He gave a stiff “apology” on January 7 during a church service; the church later deep-sixed the video.

A pastor admitted a past ‘sexual incident’ with a teen, saying he was ‘deeply sorry.’ His congregation gave him a standing ovation.

The New York Times saved the video and brought in Jules Woodson, the victim, to comment on it in another video.
