Yep. From what I’ve been able to deduce, “natural” immunity acquired by getting infected tends to be specifically geared towards the variant you were infected by.

But when combined with vaccination, apparently the spike proteins introduced by the vaccine make some people’s immune systems go absolutely bonkers and produce antibodies to resist basically every variant conceivably possible. Now I’m regretting not getting an mRNA vaccine.
