Even being vaxed and boosted, I’d compare the odds of infection - being at tournament, or at home - and decide what was the safest bet.

Not to mention there will be a lot of staff walking around and where ever the players go when not playing. If the area is at 42% vaccination, and the facilities are not requiring test, vaccination, masks, etc. then it’s essentially a super-spreader event since there is going to be exposure and then the virus gets to the tables within a day or two if it is not already there.
