I think we can. With the voting and the marches, I think we’re beyond the usual opposition party reaction and may finally have some of that apathy solved. The number of both voters and people running for office are new.

The silver lining to Trump is that there is a very good chance that in 2021 we will have a Democratic President with a Democratic Congress that will have two years to get some good legislation enacted. If Clinton had been elected President, we’d probably be looking at a GOP Congress for at least the next 8 years, with no hope of passing any progressive legislation.
