Ivanka hasn’t had to work at a store where her crap now sells at discount. She’s never had to worry about folding clothes or putting them in display racks.

But she’s going to pontificate about how we should be so lucky to have the jobs we have.

She inherited her lot in life from her dad and grandfather. They got wealthy in real estate and she directly benefits and profits from it. The financial “disclosure” form shows that she’s a VP in a bunch of closely held companies that were formed for various buildings in the US and around the world. She doesn’t have to do anything except cash the check.

It sounds a lot like the “dignity of work” stuff you often (but not always) hear from people who have never worked a menial job in their lives. I’m always skeptical of people I hear talk like that
