A Trump-hating girl friend refuses to see it because she doesn’t like subtitled movies. My sister hated the movie because she thought it was going to be a comedy but it changed mid-film into something far darker; and my sister wants upbeat films. I thought it was terrific.

You really miss a lot if you skip out on a movie because it’s subtitled IMO. I’d much rather watch a subtitled foreign movie than a dubbed one. It was darkly funny. The weird thing is that Trump brought up Gone with the Wind in Colorado of all places and Sunset Boulevard which is about a delusional has been movie star. I’m seeing more and more foreign movies and tv shows. I saw an Israeli movie yesterday in the theater and I’m watching a Belorussian one now about occupied life during WWII.
