It was a coup d’etat. Anywhere else than in the US, it would be a coup d’etat. So call it that, a coup d’etat. And call those involved instigators or accomplices to a coup d’etat. Maybe terrorists.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but what happened at the Capitol is at the very least sedition where I come from and where I live. And for some, it would be FUCKING high treason. Ten to life in Sweden, even harsher sentences in Finland.

I don’t think many of us disagree, at this point. Hell, we have other countries ON RECORD as saying that it was an attempted coup. If they’re saying it, they would know better than us; it’s our first time, after all.
