The only thing on the internet needing a more stern warning than comment sections are medical information sites for ‘patients’.
A few years ago I got an out of normal range result on an unusual blood test. When I Googled it, the first thing that came up was using it post mortem to check for anaphylactic shock. Fortunately, I noted that I was not, in fact, dead. Nor did I have any significant symptoms. Also, I’m not of an excitable temperament.
