i’ve been staying out of this because i cant (yet) separate the “moral” from the political, from the legal from the constitutional, from the senate rules, from public opinion, from ….

conyers and franken are leaving because they know that some part of the accusations are true or true enough

i’d like to think that someone who knows he is in fact falsely accused says, respectfully, “bring it on”

He did that. His party abandoned his ass and lined up to publicly call for his resignation in the name of political expediency. Easier to run him out of the party than support his calls for due process.
