Ysah that’s a legit point. KG tho being of a Cuban background may have better observations on whether or not it was an authentic portrayal of Cuban body language and that sort of thing tho. I just don’t find Tony as fascinating as I do Michael Corleone. Michael going from idealistic war hero to dying alone in Sicily is perhaps my favorite character arc in film. Literally 18 years in the making!

Pacino’s Michael Corleone is one of the greatest performances in cinema history. And the polar opposite of Tony Montana.

It’s one of the things I respect about Pacino; he can play a wide variety of characters and he’s believable. He has a new film out next year, The Irishman, with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, directed by Martin Scorsese. I’m looking forward to that one. Pacino’s playing Jimmy Hoffa.
