I’m in the middle of a real disaster in my house. The water line to my refrigerator was leaking unseen for several days, and it spread into the adjoining bedroom. Now I’m going to have to replace a whole lot of carpet and flooring, and I’m panicking because I really cannot afford this right now.

Room dehumidifier. Stat. Lift what you can of the carpet and flooring so water can escape.
