I know why people like Obama have these urges to disarm. They think the world will be safer. What I cannot understand is how they can sit there and actually believe that disarmament could actually take place when many of the nukes of the world are in the hands of tyrants and dictators now. All it will do is make us more vulnerable to attack, just the opposite of what they claim will happen

I remember debating a guy in college when Reagan was putting the medium ranged nuclear missiles in Europe. He went on and on about how it will make the world more volatile and how Reagan was a war monger. He got all the whoops and cheers with the spiel. When I got up and said this will lead to a more peaceful world and that strength is preferable to weakness, I got booed. This was the height of the “NO-Nuke” nonsense that swept the nation for a few years. I wonder how all of those self-righteous fools are doing today? Probably still living in the same fantasy land as their beloved leader.

We should never give up our nuclear weapons and we should be telling everyone right now that any attack on the USA will result in the complete and total destruction of the country or people that attacked.
