re: #191 Holidays are Family Fun Time

I read one James Rollins. I couldn’t suspend disbelief enough to get into it.
I usually stay away from contemporary authors because I figure I can wait for the movie - or - if the story is republished enough, years later, I figure it might be worth reading.

I think of Rollins as including elements of science fiction, not as a straight thriller.

I want to see the Jack Reacher movie but I’m still all WTF why did they cast that hobbit Tom Cruise to play a 6’5” 220-lb badass?
