It’s astounding that someone like Hagel is being attacked from the right. I mean, the guy’s anything but a bleeding heart liberal, but they’re treating him like he’s a drum circle leading hippie. WTF.

I just find it fascinating that they are so willing to throw a former ranking member of their own committee, and longtime member of their own party, in an act of conducting an ideological purge.
