I wish for a complete recovery for Steve Scalise. I wouldn’t wish his injuries on my worst enemies.

Steve Scalise is a white supremacist.

Like Alouette said, like George Wallace after he was shot, maybe Steve Scalise will have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment and he’ll stop being such a horrible human being going forward.

When Wallace was shot, one of his first well wishers was African-American Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, if she can do that for Wallace, I can wish Scalise well. I mean this sincerely. Let’s really work to reduce gun violence. We owe it our country.
