I spoke about Bernie because Warren tacks much the same way, pushing this “progressive” bit that ignores everything that doesn’t boil down to “hang the rich.” It was why Bernie’s campaign was so lackluster, because he couldn’t run on anything aside from resentment and she’s looking to try to follow that same course. White resentment is not the party’s ticket back to the White House.

It should be noted that Warren won her Senate seat in 2012, her only contested political race to date, by 7.55% over Scott Brown. Clinton won Massachusetts by 27.20%, meaning that she outperformed Warren by 19.65%. If Warren performed as poorly as in 2012, on a uniform swing, here are all the states she’d win in a 2020 national election.
