From the same nitwits who tell you that America had all sorts of things in 1912 without an income tax, without acknowledging that none of those things were anywhere near the size or complexity of today.

Or point to the level of regulation in 1960 versus today and argue things were “better” back then, ignoring not only all of the scientific progress alone made in the 50+ year time period, but also looking ridiculous if you compare that 1960 pile to one from 50 years prior.
