I thought that there were two stories: 1) the forced separation policy, and 2) that ICE places or follows children otherwise not accompanied as they are placed in foster care.

The latter does not necessarily stem from the former, though the two could overlap.

I thought we all agreed that the government should not be tracking children who have been (rightly) placed in foster care?

Were there not tweets by activists pleading with us to not try to confuse the two scenarios?
