1) misogynistic bulkshit trying to shame AOC.
2) her apparent wealth is closer to what her constituents face than most everyone else in Congress, so she’d be more likely to be attuned to the needs of poor and struggling working class.
3) media keeps playing up the right wing narratives where possible.

I’ve seen some reports claiming that AOC lied about her background and what have you, but haven’t seen anything substantive one way or another. My guess is that it’s just the usual smear campaign (except this is coming from both the left and right).

A rep actually being representative of her district’s demographics? The horror!

To say nothing of the fact that having $7k in savings is waaaay more than the VAST majority of Americans.
