I don’t entirely agree. Of course the Michelle Malkins and Red Staters are pushing back like mad. But out in the big real off-blog world? People are not quite that stupid.

I think that one result of this event, a small silver lining to a large cloud, is that Palin’s potential candidacy is even deader than it was already. She can’t actually scrub her entire past persona. This may be true of the dreadful Bachman as well.
