Zimmerman had a bloody nose right? A punch to the nose can take a man down easily, unless he is high, medicated or a pro skills fighter. There is this flinch response the body will often do directly away from the painful hit. Balance fails, man falls.

Zimmerman could also have lunged at the kid, missed and fell, bloodying his own nose. Nobody knows!
