Now that I did not know. I know they’re going to try for a woman - I’m going to have to do some research on who it can be (I thought at one time Nicky Haley but I think they’re going to try for someone from a blue or purple state).

They’ll try for a woman, but it won’t be Haley, who is political poison, and it won’t be Martinez, who has valid reasons to say no.

My guess is that Mitt and the rest of the GOP will continue to delude themselves into believing that the war on women is a liberal fiction, so he’ll end up with a male VP. He needs a wingnut by his side to shore up the base, so I’m thinking it will be someone like Allen West.
