I’ve seen so much RWNJ herpty derp about Detroit and the water shut-offs.

If people can’t afford $50 for water they deserve to have it shut off! I pay MY bills on time unlike teh poorz! Eleventy!

I’d flip my desk and set it on fire, but my boss might get mad. Heh.

My city is linked to the DWS system, I pay my bill on time and it’s like $70/month.

That said, there should be a minimum amount of water provided to households for health and sanitation reasons. A payment schedule can be worked out for customers on a sliding scale of ability to pay.
