Obama had to choose his words carefully. The only way to stop this travesty from becoming law is by persuading 3 Republicans to vote the right way. It’s hard to persuade people if you demonize them. Of course, it probably won’t be successful, but let’s wait and see. My mother always said you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

I wrote postcards to the 3 “moderates” (Susan, Lisa, Rob) asking for their consideration. You never know what might work. Maybe if they heard from enough people, they will do what is right.
