Kobach is again pushing that nonsense about voter fraud in New Hampshire, and Trump will run with that again and again despite actual evidence showing no wrongdoing or voter fraud.

Every time voter fraud comes up with this cabal, they make extraordinary claims, but there’s no extraordinary evidence. There’s no evidence actually, and it takes only the slightest effort to disprove, but by then the right wing echo chamber has repeated this story enough that it’s taken as Gospel.

GOP wants to deprive people of the right to vote. They want to tie the ability to vote with drivers licences or other ID that poor people are less likely to get or more difficult/costly to obtain. They want to stop college kids from voting where they’re attending college.

They want to do everything possible to sway votes to keep people from voting and to depress turnout.

And it’s worked before, and it continues working. Because not enough people see midterms as important, let alone off year elections. If you’re not voting in all elections, you’re giving away your vote and letting GOPers gain unfair advantages to press during the presidential election cycle and it influences everything from state and local races to Congressional makeup - up to and including judicial nominations that get to push a regressive agenda going forward.

I witnessed the bolded when I was an undergrad at GMU. The local and campus GOP fought allowing a precinct on campus.
