I live in a lock-off mother-in-law apartment in a five bedroom house, $750/month which is dirt fucking cheap around these parts (it helps I’ve known the owners of the house since I was seven years old). It’s not uncommon to see three bedroom townhomes rent for $4000/month. One bedroom apartments closer to the ski areas can command two grand a month easily. And the management at the ski areas/restaurants/schools/health care facilities wonder why turnover is 100% in almost all departments.
