Cruz has the same attitude toward establishment republicans in the Senate that the TP GOPers have toward those in the House—they don’t respect them, feel they don’t need them, and don’t think they have to listen to them. They have been a thorn in Boehner’s side since Day One and they are the reason Boehner can accurately be described as the weakest Speaker in the history of Congress. Republicans wanted quantity instead of quality. They have it, but I don’t think they’re satisfied with it. I also read the other day that they’re having problems recruiting candidates to run for the Senate in 2014. They never, ever thought that their recklessness would backfire on them, but it did, and I’m glad to see that they’re having so many internal struggles. It might just force them to take a good look at themselves and compel them to make some real changes.
