I guess it has never occurred to the AP and other media outlets that the reason some information can’t be released is because it’s highly classified. I understand one not being gung ho about having the U.S. make a military intervention into Syria because I’m not fully supportive of it, but what I don’t understand is why so many are so willing to reject the information which has already been released. I think the media is trying to punish the president because he one upped them by not making a unilateral intervention in Syria when they already had their talking points prepared. I though Andrea Mitchell was going to have a heart attack on air when the president announced he’d wait for Congress to vote on the issue, and I can imagine that she wasn’t the only talking head that was shocked and angry that he/she couldn’t push the memes their networks had given to them.
