Anonymous is not a group of hackers, and if you say otherwise I will hack your site

Anonymous is completely contradicting itself through these raids.

The group, from the image board 4chan, is all for online anonymity. Even 4chan’s creator, Christopher Poole (aka Moot), has argued in favor of online anonymity. They thrive on the fact that on 4chan, they can post and say whatever they want with little to no consequences, because they are not required to have a username or give personal information. They can simply post under the name ‘Anonymous’. Now they carry out online raids in favor of Julian Assange, who has released thousands of classified cables. Anonymous says they’re in favor of Assange’s crusade for transparency and truth. Now, what if Anonymous had to face that kind of transparency? If they had to give factual, personal information or username on 4chan? They’re outraged by the mere mention of taking away their anonymity, and yet they come to the aid of a man who has spilled more secrets than any individual in human history.

Essentially, Anonymous is too stubborn to see that what they’re doing contradicts their own personal beliefs.
