Man, how could anyone buy this woman’s story?

“My kid accidentally drowned in our pool….so my dad and I went and covered her mouth in duct tape and threw her out in the woods to make it look like a murder (because that’s what people do when their kids drown in the pool, right?)…..and then I spent the next month partying while the kid was “missing” because…um…because my dad abused me when I was a kid….or something?”
