Unions enable workers to send Representatives to negotiate wages and benefits and conditions. I always looked at it as the Union would not be needed if the company acted in good faith and treated their employees fairly. I worked at Union and non Union jobs. The Union workplaces were much better. I saw people treated like dirt and told to do things that were flat out illegal in a few non union facilities, but to keep the job they had to do it. Is it Union busting? I think so.The jobs that will come will be lower paying and with less benefits. Count on it. Indiana took a beating in the last 5 years. This is not the answer. Just MHO.
