Florida Gov. Rick Scott has used a famous quote about the Nazis and the Holocaust to explain his disregard for the current political attack culture.

The governor said other “candidates (shouldn’t) attack people in business.” He paraphrased a well-known Martin Niemoller saying that is often referred to as the “First They Came For…” quote.

Scott later explained he used the Niemoller quote to make the point that capitalism should always be defended.
