If Red Dawn hadn’t been an American movie about American partisans fighting Russians and Cubans in WWIII it could easily have been a Russian movie about Russian partisans fighting Germans and Romanians (and Hungarians and Finns and Italians and Spanish) in WWII.

I like that they borrowed a lot of equipment from the U.S. Army’s OPFOR. It was cool seeing a ZSU 23-4 in action.
