Nope. Hollywood won’t bother. Why not? For the same reason Danny Glover can’t get the resources to make a movie about Haiti’s rebellion against Napoleonic French rule: “Where are the white heroes?”

Don’t believe me? Check out other movies about fighting against slavery/institutionalized racism. Which characters do those films revolve around? Don’t just look at the trailers. Actually watch the movies, and then tell me I’m wrong.

On second thought, Hollywood just might make a movie about these events in China, except from the perspective of the US diplomats.
