The only problem with polygamy I see are patriarchal constraints that leave a lot of young men without any chance of finding a mate or spouse, making them essentially outcasts. If women were enabled to rise to equal levels of power and socio-economic status as to afford “having” more than one husband, maybe the system could balance itself out.
