I am very short and was the target of bullying throughout elementary and junior high (what they used to call middle school back in the day). I was also targeted for bullying because I had [deleted word] hair.

The thing that disturbed me the most was that the teachers DIDN’T GIVE A FUCK. “Oh, if they laugh at you, just laugh with them!” was the most “useful” piece of advice they gave me on how to respond to the bullying.

The bullying stopped when I went to a “magnet” high school instead of the neighborhood high school the rest of the bullies went to.
