Now, two things can be happening here. Either Bolton went to Gaffney’s radio show with Romney blessing, or he went on his own. If Romney approved (or at least knew) that Bolton would say this (that Bachmann is right on her witch hunt raising the question), Bolton is safe. If Romney didn’t know Bolton’s opinion on the matter, Romney won’t do anything because he’d be too afraid to anger his “allies”, so Bolton is again safe.

Either way, Romney will try to ignore this question (if the MSM raises the question) as long as he can.
