40 years? The IOC should have honoured the victims more prominently.

The families of the victims requested a moment of silence at the Opening Ceremonies in London, on the 40th anniversary. The IOC refused to do so, claiming they had already honored the memory of the athletes on other occasions (I don’t know if this was done at an Opening Ceremony or not).
