Sigh…there’s just no way in hell.

Even if you assume the attacks were staged (stupid I know) how could it possibly be kept under wraps?? There is no way they could have managed to pull that off and not leave one single shred of evidence behind.

I really do think these nutjobs seriously overestimate the power and reach of the U.S. government.

And on a side note: Is it fair to say the Internet has done a lot with regards to the rise of conspiracy theories post 9/11? I don’t remember hearing about wacky stuff like this much in the 90s.

BS was harder to spread pre Internet. I do remember groups shilling VHS tapes of the “truth” about Vince Foster. He was murdered by Bill because Hillary was a lesbian or something.
