Precisely. It’s one of the numerous reasons they hate it so much.

If we didn’t have a strong federal government and every state was allowed to do its own thing unchecked, we’d most likely look like a very large Afghanistan in no time flat, with each state having its own “warlord” and militia.

From what I’ve seen the wingnuts know this and want this. They know they’ll never be more than small fish in a big pond so they’re trying to shrink the pond by dividing it up into fifty (or more) smaller ponds.

Then they’ll be important.
