If you visit these right wing forums you hear talk about how Wall Street is controlled by oligarchs, etc

I must be going to the wrong forums, because all of the ones I look out say it’s (as in everything wrong in the world) Obama’s fault. It’s a comforting philosophy, since it requires no thought or thinking ability at all to believe it.

If I were a young man these days I wouldn’t give college a second look. Rack up a huge debt so I can be underemployed when I get out, or have to compete with cheap to employ H1-B visa holders or offshoring?

Screw that. I’d go for something that can’t be offshored, pays well, is portable, and will always be in demand. In other words, I’d learn a trade.

Unless you have the chops to be at the top of the top of the education heap, these days college is just another 4-5-6 years expensive trip down the tubes while you put off the inevitable.
